A CM evaluation program enables the organisation to continuously measure and analyse the performance of CM activities. With a systematic method for collecting and analyzing information about how CM is performing in projects or other specified parts of the organisation, it is possible to identify and assess:
- if intended effect is achieved,
- trends regarding CM activities in the organisation,
- actions to improve CM performance.
CM evaluations can involve both quantitative and qualitative methods.
